    Declan Merry

    Declan joined Merry Mullen in 1999. He brings extensive experience in taxation and auditing from his time at Deloitte. Made a partner at Merry Mullen in 2002 and managing partner in 2007, Declan also serves as European Chairman for GMN International and on a number of Boards.

    Declan is our tax expert, specialising in tax planning, revenue audits and tax consultancy. A Fellow of The Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland and an AITI Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA), he is also member of the GMN International taxation group and past chairman of a Chartered Accountants member network.

    Pat Hoyne

    Pat has been a partner since 2007 and brings a wealth of practice and commercial experience in a variety of fields and sectors. Prior to joining Merry Mullen in 2004, he served in leading companies in various roles as Financial Controller, Audit Senior and Accountant.

    Brian Merry

    Brian, a partner at Merry Mullen since 1963, is one of the most respected people in our industry. His vast experience and business acumen gleaned over a lifetime with Merry Mullen is at the disposal of all our staff and clients. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland and a founding member of the Institute of Taxation in Ireland. 

    He works as a partner with clients to assist them achieving their goals.     Derek Weadick

    Derek is our Audit Manager and brings a wealth of experience joining our team in April 2015. Having worked in similar firms over the last 20 years dealing with owner managed and listed businessess, he has a calm reassuring assuredness which only experience brings.
