Declan played a pivotal role in shaping Merry Mullen over the past 25 years. Having held various positions since 1999, he became Managing Partner in 2007. Declan is very proud of where Merrry Mullen is today, the family history of the firm through three generations, and the firm’s ability to provide best-in-class client service.

With 35 years experience including his time at Deloitte, Declan has a real passion for advising and assisting clients and companies achieve their goals. A fellow of The Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland and a chartered tax advisor, he has a wealth of experience in assisting clients through tax planning, acquisitions, mergers, sales and general day to day sound advice.

When family and work allow, Declan likes to cook, play golf, or ski to help him unwind. He is also a big Leinster Rugby supporter.
